Pumpkin Patch Hayride

This was pretty much the coldest day of the year so far. Now that I think about it, I have never been on a hayride when the weather wasn't cold enough to sting my ears. We enjoyed a hayride and picked out pumpkins. Then we went back to Darron & Jamie's house to be scalded by chili (the spices had been accidentally doubled or quadrupled or something), but it was good anyway.

Autumn in AF Canyon

Between sessions of conference we drove up American Fork Canyon to see the autumn colors. It was spectacular, so the next day our family and Richard & Lisa's family went up to get some pics. The beauty was stunning and the scenery wasn't too bad either.

Jennie's Birthday trip to Joe's Valley

The cabins were not exactly luxury suites, but were more bear-proof than tents and they worked out fine. This is the first year we haven't had birthday cake for Jennie, but that was mostly because we ate junk food all day and the trip made surprises nearly impossible. The four-wheeling was fun (when is four-wheeling ever not?), the lake was pretty cool in spite of the wind, and the scenery was impressive. Those that made the trip all seemed to enjoy. Those that didn't make the trip will just have to enjoy the photos.

Camaro

One night Robby and I stayed up until 4:00 in the morning working on the interior of the Camaro, but we got the carpet put in, the seats reupholstered and foam replaced, the door sills replaced, and etc.. Robby is loving driving it again, but the back tires might not last very long.
